A trip to New Zealand with the incredible Ferrari Purosangue SUV

To recover from our emotions, we have lunch in Rotorua before starting the last half day of our Grand Tour. It wasn’t the lunch of our lives dinner American far from memorable, but the place was very pleasant. It was an opportunity to discover giant sequoias during the Redwoods Treewalk. An hour’s drive away, Waiotapu’s many natural hot springs invite you to swim. However, it is better to keep your feet dry as some are contaminated and the risk of a fatal infection is very real. So we go ahead and get back to driving our beloved Ferrari for one last lap.

We are really getting close to our final destination, Taupo. Geographical specialists know that this city is home to the largest freshwater lake in Australasia. Lake Taupo is located in the crater of a thousand-year-old volcano and has an area of 616 km2. And for this last part of the journey, Ferrari will have one last surprise for us: Goudies Road. Located near Reporoa, a small country town in the Rotorua district, Goudies Road is a road unlike any other in New Zealand. Several kilometers long, seven to be exact, it is the longest straight in the country and the preferred location for legal speed races. Suffice it to say that the temptation to break the speed record of 364.5 km/h is great. But while we pushed the Purosangue’s 725bhp a bit, it was a moderate pace as we swallowed the last few hundred meters of our New Zealand trip. On the one hand, because the reserve light supports ecological driving, but also to enjoy an atmosphere that is both sporty and luxurious for the last time. Because the adventure ends when you arrive at Kinloch Manor, which overlooks the country’s famous largest lake. The view from this opulent establishment is breathtaking and worthy of a unique car, all examples of which have already been sold. We therefore did well to take full advantage of it, even if our wallets won’t allow us to fall for this truly unique 4-seater Ferrari.
