The 2023-24 season ends this Sunday with the crowning of Italy’s Lisa Vittozzi in the biathlon World Cup general. Individual world champion last February in Nové Mesto, Transalpine is experiencing the best season. A big crystal globe for Julia Simon, but also two small globes for the individual (win in Östersund) and the pursuit (two wins in Ruhpolding and Canmore).
Second in the overall classification, Norwegian Ingrid Tandrevoldová saved her season by winning the small sprint globe ahead of French Justine Braisazová-Bouchetová.
