Gaja-et-Villedieu: qualifying internship for Jessica

A final year Baccalaureate student in Management/Administration at Jacques-Ruffié High School in Limoux, Jessica, a local child, is completing her second placement in her year-long course at City Hall. Four weeks in which she learns all the tricks (or almost) of the City Hall secretary job, coached by Laurie Taillefer.

Mandatory practice, which at the same time opens the door to further studies and a professional project. After obtaining her high school diploma, Jessica wishes to continue her higher studies at BTS GPME and then at CAP Aesthetics with the ambition of creating her own business. She admits that she received a warm welcome from everyone, the secretary and the elected officials. After a period of observing the workings of the community, Jessica will be assigned various tasks under the responsibility and watchful but caring gaze of Laurie, who enjoys “To pass on your knowledge and show the work and role of the Town Hall Secretary is great”.

Here, it is not unusual to meet interns of all ages, students or people in the process of changing careers at the town hall. “It often happens that once we have a request, with Councilor Laurie, who oversees the interns, we respond favorably. confides Hélène Mas, the mayor of the city.
