To do this, they scoured social media and analyzed more than 40,000 reviews from 8,000 bars and pubs in 70 cities in Europe. The goal? Determine which were the best European cities where to drink beer The ranking is based on five criteria: quality of beer, price, buzz on social media and character of bars and pubs. Everything gave a score out of 100.

Bad news: Belgium is not at the top of this list. But rest assured Belgian city is still in the top 10!

The best cities to drink beer in Europe
