Justice orders a paternity test for Marcel Desailly, who doesn’t recognize his ex’s daughter

Is Marcel Desailly the illegitimate father of a 9-year-old girl? In any case, the judiciary has asked the former central defender to undergo a DNA test to determine whether or not this is the case as claimed by the child’s mother. This court decision, reported by Le Parisien this Thursday, March 14, suits both the latter and the 1998 world champion, who requested this paternity test.

His ex-partner is demanding alimony in the amount of 5,000 euros

The native of Accra, who now lives in Ghana, therefore has six months to complete the process with the laboratory in Nantes. If it is concluded that Marcel Desailly is indeed the father of the little girl, he will have to pay child support. The amount demanded by his ex-partner is €5,000. Still according to Le Parisien, the former player could struggle to pay that amount every month.

Marcel Desailly had an affair with this former lover from 2009 to 2018, while he remained married to his wife, the mother of his four “legitimate” children, until 2021. In the past, he was already forced to acknowledge the paternity of the first daughter born out of wedlock.

In this case, while his ex provided several documents regarding the closeness between his daughter and Desailly, he claims that he was friendly, like anyone who met a friend’s child.
