There was an atmosphere in Jean-Guéhenna’s house that radiated warmth, flavor, and sweetness, emanating from a dozen pots lined up in a row filled with soup. At this first edition of the Montolivian Soup Festival, the taste buds were allowed to travel.
From the sea to Algeria, from Jerusalem artichoke to carrots, including leeks and corn, not forgetting peas and lentils, the incredible cordon bleus doubled their imagination.
The parents’ association is at the origin of this event and it was an opportunity for them to bring all generations together. A snack bar and desserts prepared by the participants were at low prices to raise funds to fund trips planned for students from Kindergarten to CM2. The golden ladle of this first edition went to Elke de Bäch with Jerusalem artichoke soup with parsley oil and the second winner is Ivan Quilez with corn soup, a delight. Complete with a special children’s corner, this party had everything to please. See you next year to try your luck or just enjoy a good soup.
