Between 20:00 and 21:00 the Somme was struck by 1,116 lightning strikes.this year on April 9, according to Keraunos, during a storm that crossed Picardy towards Nord-Pas-de-Calais. This storm also affected the Oise and Aisne to a lesser extent in the evening : 475 flashes recorded in Oise after 18:00, 136 in Aisne after 22:00, at the peak of activity.
