The Holy Grail for Puy du Fou. After a record year in 2023, when the Vendée theme park surpassed its attendance of 2.6 million visitors, it won the prize for the best show in the world on the night of Saturday to Sunday. Le Figaro. A prestigious honor in the global entertainment industry Thea Classic Award was awarded by the Themed Entertainment Association jury to the team from Puy du Fou during a ceremony organized in Los Angeles (United States of America).
The prize rewards the show mime and star a new theme park production in 2023. It tells the love story between a gypsy and a movie star who meet in the early 20th century. During the performance, thanks to an ingenious mechanism, the audience finds themselves immersed in a constantly moving environment. In total, Puy du Fou invested more than 20 million euros in this show.

After this award, the president of the park, Nicolas de Villiers, highlighted the investment made Mime and the star : “This award confirms the bold strategy of the 100% French company and demonstrates the universal dimension of Puy du Fou: its model transcends cultures and heritage. »
In early March, the park won two Brass Ring Live Entertainment Excellence Awards, cinema’s equivalent of the Golden Globes. In 2012, the Vendée park received Thea Classic Award of the best parks in the world. Two years later he won the prestigious Applause Award from the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA)an association bringing together 4,500 parks worldwide.
