The Crous is holding a cookery competition for students for the first time. Entries are open until 22 March and the final will be held in the university’s Rangueil restaurant on 8 April.
Students, cook! Crous de Toulouse-Occitanie is launching its first ever cooking competition for students called Chef Crous’TO. The eight candidates selected during the preliminary phase will compete in the final, which will be held on April 8 at the university restaurant on the Rangueil campus.

Young aspiring chefs will have 4 hours to create a menu for three people, which includes a starter, a main course and a dessert, while respecting the designated basket. They will also have the option to add two additional ingredients of their choice. They will benefit from the support and advice of Crous chefs on site.
Applications are open until March 22
Entries to take part in the competition are open until Friday 22 March and must be submitted exclusively online via the Crous de Toulouse-Occitanie website.

Various prizes are up for grabs, including a set of professional kitchen utensils, a basket of fresh fruit and vegetables, a meal for two in the brasserie, as well as a pastry workshop with Chef Crouse. The starter, main course and dessert that won first place on the podium will also be offered simultaneously in all university restaurants in Toulouse-Occitanie.
