The low-cost airline of the Air France group continues to increase its offers. Already at the end of 2023, it was planned that Transavia would add thirteen new routes made available by air, from Paris-Orly, Marseille, Lyon or even Montpellier to prepare for the 2024 summer holidays Three new destinations have been planned from Paris airport, including two in Italy: Milan, Comiso (in Sicily) and Varna in Bulgaria. The company expects 90% occupancy of its planes this year.
These flights are now available, a completely different destination that Transavia has just added to its offer. Today we head to the Norwegian fjords, to Bergen, the country’s second largest city. There are two flights per week (Tuesday and Saturday), from 62 euros for one trip.
A two-hour flight from Paris
The city of Bergen is located on the southwest coast of Norway and offers a breathtaking landscape. Its historic center, its colorful facades, its cultural history rich in adventure… You can also admire the symbolic Norwegian fjords Sørfjord and Grimstadfjord that surround the city. Fabulous hikes await, despite 200 days of rain. A charming port city whose Bryggen district is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bergen’s gentle way of life calls to you and is only two hours flight from Paris.

Please note, however, that as of April 3rd, you must pay at least 15 euros board the plane with luggage. Thanks to this new paid option, Transavia intends to increase its turnover, but not only that. The punctuality of the company could also be improved. However, the cost of hand luggage remains included in the ticket price.
