It’s official. The third grade, temporarily opened at the beginning of the school year last September, is permanent. The fight led jointly by the town hall, parents and teachers led the National School to open a third place for the proper accommodation of children enrolled in the school, which almost always included only two classes.
Now there are three. “Since the beginning of the mandate, we have registered another 20 children, said Mayor Jean-François Saïsset, we are a peaceful village that welcomes families with children.” Elected officials satisfied that the institution prioritized the countryside with this decision. The municipality’s investments in the school, canteen, school trips and nursery are being strengthened.
“The town hall’s priority is the school,” supports Jessica Chardon Servet, Rep. “School is our strength”, concludes the first judge, who says he opposes any idea of educational grouping.
